Terms of Service

1. The service

StoryCrew uses AI to generate short videos — including script, images, voice, and assembly — from the topic and materials you provide. Features and limits may change as we improve the service.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 14 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the service.

3. Plans, billing, and cancellation

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Each plan includes usage limits (such as the number of videos, length, regenerations, and a monthly usage allowance). We may pause generation when a limit is reached.
• You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Fees and plan features may change with notice for future billing periods.

4. Your content and license

You retain ownership of the materials you submit (your "Input"), such as topics, brand guides, and uploaded images. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, and transmit your Input to our subprocessors solely to operate the service and produce your output.

You represent that you have the rights to your Input and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or violate any law. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to use any third-party material, likeness, voice, logo, or brand you upload.

5. AI-generated output

As between you and us, the videos and other output the service generates for you are yours to use, subject to these Terms and the terms of the underlying AI providers. AI output may be inaccurate, may resemble other works, and is provided without any guarantee of originality, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing output before you publish or rely on it, and for ensuring it complies with applicable platform policies and laws.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to create, upload, or distribute content that:

• is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or violates the rights or privacy of others;
• is sexually explicit involving minors, or depicts real, identifiable people without their consent in a misleading or harmful way;
• promotes violence, harassment, hate, or self-harm, or is intended to deceive or defraud;
• impersonates a person or organization or misrepresents your affiliation; or
• attempts to bypass usage limits, abuse, reverse-engineer, overload, or interfere with the service.

7. Intellectual property

The StoryCrew platform — including its software, design, and brand — is owned by Jinseok Kim and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or platform other than the right to use the service as permitted here.

8. Third-party services

The service relies on third-party providers (including the AI and infrastructure providers described in our Privacy Policy). Your use of features powered by them may also be subject to their terms, and we are not responsible for third-party services.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jinseok Kim will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your Input, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the service or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in the Republic of Korea will have jurisdiction over disputes, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim in your place of residence.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
